CBD - Swanston Street

I’ve seen variations of this shoe everywhere recently. But this has to be my favorite. I’m really loving the trend toward more aesthetically “masculine” shoes, as we’ve seen with the ascendancy of the platform in slick hard shapes and angular graphic forms. These shoes just have a mannish appeal to them. Maybe it’s the multiple brass buckle straps… or maybe it's the image of ancient Rome (and men in togas?!).

whats good about this is that she understands subtlety, and restraint. the shoes are the feature, and nothing else is trying to compete for that attention.
