I like the unexpected element in this look…(the necklace is an electronic toy). It is evident that this girl has a sense of humour, but she conveys it all with incredible elegance.
I enjoy all of it, loving the melbourne summer look- greys, blacks and tanned skin. Totally all for picking up something random in your room and attaching it to a chain, esp kitsch nostalgic items. BUT: the LV bag just throws me. It would be great if it was a funky bold colour bag or something structured in a patent or print from an op shop to quirk up the outfit, but instead it's a tired, safe designer option. Maybe it's just me, I just dont understand a hefty pricetag on a "label" bag. 1. what are you going to put in it? you had to sell everything you own just to get it. 2. What lifestyle is it emulating? (in Australia, miles away and in the wrong season to USA) The skinny-idiot-socialite lifestyle? because thats what i want to, like, be, like, you know?? 3. they're not even nice colours, poo brown and baby spew tan.
Absolutely nothing against the girl, Honestly. If you have any doubt read my nice comments. Its the bag, and thats it, I swear.
I like LV because they are reliable, as silly as that sounds. but they are really strong, sturdy bags, they have lasted years for my mum and nana ...and because they are such a style within themselves, you can wear them with anything really. I have her backpack, and I its such a great style because it is young and versatile but still luxe. She masters the quirky and relaxed meets luxe style well. She reminds me of a chick I used to work with at Sass and Bide.
